The reason for the starting of WattsRus also know as $ensible Energy was the interest that my wife, family and I have with alternative energy and healthy self-sustained living. I have been researching the alternative energy field for over 10 years and have finally found an excellent source & price for Solar as well as a sturdy and sensible wind energy products. I am not selling the alternative energy products since we basically "missed the market" in our area making sure what we had found was legitimate but I always welcome discussions and will freely share what I have learned and what is working for us. The BEST wind generator I have found for our Northwestern Arizona are the "BE A WIND HOG. COM" out of Alaska. Tried tested and a producer for 10-12 Average windspeeds we have had ours up for 3 years now! (The large wind gens on properties around the area are NOT producing and don't take my WORD for it talk to Steve at Unisource, he will tell you the only one of "those" producing is 1 up in the Hualapai Mountains ! As far as green houses, composting and the various other products that you see on the site that is because we love to work in the garden and are and have always been very health conscious. Our parents taught us early in our lives the importance of healthy as well as frugile living and my dad is a botanist who is extremely well versed in his field of expertise as well as a well rounded construction craftsman who has taught me many things and is always willing to assist in our many various projects that take experience & knowledge to complete. All of our endeavors are done with family member involvement and we are as "the days gone by" American Family Owned and Operated since 2002. My mother is extremely talented in many ways, but one of her latest handcrafted skills that she has greatly excelled at is also part of self-sustained living in that she uses natural fibers and spins them and then ply's them together and then either knits or crochets wonderful original clothing that are beautiful, warm & sensible - I hope to soon have a link to her web site to learn from her experience and perhaps to purchase these original works of art. My wife who is an Arizona licensed real estate broker also assists me in my work as she can and hopes to even more in the future- she is a mid-western farmer's daughter at heart and we love to garden together. We have been experimenting with container gardening as well as green house environment in order to use less water & extend our growing season since we live in the high desert of Northwestern Arizona so our water use is definately a concern for many reasons. I really appreciate the many people who have been able to spend time on the phone with me, e-mailing, etc. while investigating and researching all the various options available to us and I look forward to assisting you in your search for a better way of life not only for you now but far into the future by making wise decisions today.
