The reason for the starting of WattsRus also know as $ensible Energy was the interest that my wife, family and I have with alternative energy and healthy self-sustained living. I have been researching the alternative energy field for over 7 years and have finally found an excellent source & price for Solar as well as a sturdy and sensible wind energy products. As far as green houses, composting and the various other products that you see on the site that is because we love to work in the garden and are and have always been very health conscious. Our parents taught us early in our lives the importance of healthy as well as frugile living and my dad is a botanist who is extremely well versed in his field of expertise as well as a well rounded construction craftsman who has taught me many things and is always willing to assist in our many various projects that take experience & knowledge to complete. All of our endeavors are done with family member involvement and we are as "the days gone by" American Family Owned and Operated since 2002. My mother is extremely talented in many ways, but one of her latest handcrafted skills that she has greatly excelled at is also part of self-sustained living in that she uses natural fibers and spins them and then ply's them together and then either knits or crochets wonderful original clothing that are beautiful, warm & sensible - I hope to soon have a link to her web site to learn from her experience and perhaps to purchase these original works of art. My wife who is an Arizona licensed real estate broker also assists me in my work as she can and hopes to even more in the future- she is a mid-western farmer's daughter at heart and we love to garden together. We are both experimenting with container gardening this summer since it is more likely to have so much less water use and we live in the high desert of Northwestern Arizona so our water use is definately a concern for many reasons. I am also working on a grey water system in order to help with the water conservation here and will be addiing this information to the web site within the year.
